Home and Away

I don't watch that much TV. I watch Glee, Neighbours and Home and Away (I used to watch Friends and Scrubs). Today's post is about Home and Away. Home and Away is set in Australia in the beautiful Summer Bay. There are characters of all ages that all comew together as a comunity. I know that sounds very happy-kids Tv-ish but its not all that happy. There is murder, assault, and scandal. Don't get me wrong, its not like Eastenders where someone dies every other day, it happens maybe once or twice in six months.

I'm going to tell you a little bit about my favourite character, Ruby Buckton. Ruby is redoing Year 12. Her boyfriend is called Casey Braxton (yes, he is a boy). Earlier on she found out that her sister Charlie was in fact her mother who had her when she was young. Ruby has diabetes and at one point was so depressed because of rejection by Romeo Smith, a boy who she had a crush on, that she forgets to take her diabetes. It is after being rejected by Romeo that Casey and her get together. Whe everyine thinks she is a loser he is the only one that stands up for her. Ruby's character revolves around rejection and relationships. At one point, she goes out with Xavier Austin, has a crush on her  music teacher, has a short relationship with Romeo but he refuses to make it anything more than a fling and is now dating Casey. I like Ruby because she is free-spirited and independent.

I went to to Thorpe Park!

Last Sunday, me and my friend (Glee-mania) went to Thorpe Park. It was awesome! Here is how the day went!

We got there early in the morning. We wanted to start with baby rides and work our way up so we went on the Flying Fish. It was good but a little bit short. Next we went on Tidal Wave. I have never been that drenched on a ride in my life. For a few seconds all you can see is splashes and water. After that we went on the Rumba Rapids. Then we went on Monkey's Banana ride. It was like those pirate ship ones that swing only it was a banana. It made we feel a bit sick. We then went on Nemesis Inferno. It was epic! After that we had lunch in the Pizza Hut Buffet (really nice if you like pizza). As it was after lunch we didn't want to dive right into big rides in case we threw up so we went on the Rocky Express. We really underestimated it's non-tameness. After that we went on a Canadian Train ride which went at the speed of a real train. After that I went on Colossus on my own (she didn't want to go). We then did Quantum and Zodiac (really sickening). After that we went on X:/No Way Out. Then we did this thing when you are in a giant plastic bubble that is floating on water and it is so cool because nobody can hear anything you say. It's like your in a hamster ball. We then went on the new ride Storm Surge which was slightly disappointing. The last ride we went on was a water slide called Depth Charge.

FINCHEL

Hi, if you are fully caught up on Glee episodes you will know that Fuinn (Quinn and Finn) are a couple again. I strongly disagree with this reunion. They are a terrible couple! For most of their relationship in season 1 Quinn treated Finn like a dog and let's not forget that she cheated on him! The thing I don't understand is that Quinn and Rachel both cheated on Finn (and Quinn actually went through with it, Rachel didn't) and Finn seems to have forgiven Quinn but not Rachel!

Personally I'm a massive Finchel fan! I love the way there relationship works! I totally think they should get together again and I heard they will quite soon! so us Finchel lovers will be keeping our fingers crossed! For now   I made some Finchel pics! Hope you like them! Thorpe Park

Hello! Yesterday it was Justin Beiber's birthday. I'd like to say, Happy Birthday Justin! Although he's never going to read this it will show people that I'm saying Happy Birthday to him! Sweetie Bowls!

Hello, me and my friend (Valentino Fashion) are making a Sweetie Stew. The ingredients for one bowl is,

3 Oreos

3 Jaffa cakes

2 a pack of mini pretzels

2 a pack of sour cream and chive triangles

2 a pack of Fox's Cow biscuits

 
 So, that is how to make Sweetie Stew! It's really nice when you put EVERYTHING in a bowl cos the salty stuff gets over everything, and the sweet stuff gets over everything so all the flavours get mixed together and its Delicious!

The Switch

WOW! I'm watching "The Switch", it is SOOOO great!!! Starring "Jeniffer Aninston"! It's basicly about a woman, Kassie (Aninston), that wants to have a chlid even though she is single. Somehow, her friend Wally ends up being the father and nobody knows till six years later when Kassie and her new son Sebstian move back to NEW YORK! Its really funny cos Wally actually starts to care for his son Sebastian before anyone knew he was his son! Sebastian is really cute wich makes the movie even better!

Glee, Audition Review!

 Well, gleeks last Monday "Glee" came back to the UK! I'm very sorry that I took so long to write a review but having exams kind of drove it out of my mind. Anyway, so I decided to write a review on it. So here it is!

         The first episode of Glee was fabulous! There are MANY new characters! A new female football coach, Shannon Beiste, causes both Will and Sue to have BUDGET CUTS! Rachel and Finn, while the glee club sing "Empire state of mind", notice some new students. Sunshine Corazon, a foreign-exchange student who is noticed by Rachel, has a sing-off with Rachel in the girl's bathroom! While a new transfer student, Sam, is showering in the changing room, Finn notices his great voice. As Matt transfered, they are one member short, so this is why Finn considers Sam for the auditions. Rachel feels threatened by Sunshine's beautiful voice, makes sure she is unavailable for the auditions, by, well, sending her to "a not very nice place". Quinn is restored as head cheerleader but Finn after asking if Coach Beiste to consider Artie on the football team, is kicked off the team! Also, Tina has dumped Artie for Mike Chang! Sadly, Sunshine, after singing "Listen" to the Glee Club,  decides to transfer to Carmel and join vocal adrenaline because she doesn't trust Rachel. The Glee club are mad at Rachel for losing them a member but Finn says that he will never break up with her! After telling Finn she needs some alone time,Rachel heads to the auditorium and sings "What I did for love". TYPICAL RACHEL!

The Glee Cast Dress up

Hello! My friend (GleeMania, check her out at http://www.gleemaniak.blogspot.com/),  told me about a game called "Glee cast Dress up" and I'm gonna show you how I dressed everyone! I labelled them in order of were they're standing but because of short names (Finn,Tina,Puck,Kurt) and long names (Santana, Rachel, Mercedes, Mr Schue) they aren't necessary under the person who's name they are.

Hello. Today I was really sad because in assembly our Headmistress told us that our games teacher, Miss Parker, who was only 52, had passed away over the weekend. So I decided to theme this post on people who were great but are sadly not with us any more.





Micheal Jackson, how could we not miss him.



You may not know, but yes Dick King-Smith is dead.



Elvis Presley, I wasn't alive to see his greatness but I know people who were.

Selena Gomez. A true goddess. Two albums that rock my world! Selena Gomez is most well known for her part on "Wizards of Waverly Place", a Disney show, where she plays the the mischevous teenage wizard, Alex Russo. This was not her first TV show appearance though, as a young girl she appeared on the popular kiddy show, Barney, about a big purple dinosaur. On Barney she was accomponied by Demi Lovato, who is also a Disney actess. Selena and Demi have been best friends since they appeared on Barney together, but there is recent suspicion that they have parted their ways after a fight! Selena also has been in "Princess Protection Programme" where she plays "Carter" an average teenager (Demi also plays in this), "Another Cinderella Story" where she plays "Mary", the Cindarella girl and she has recently starred in "Ramona and Beezus" where she plays "Beezus".
