My New Blog - About Antoinette

Home and Away

I don't watch that much TV. I watch Glee, Neighbours and Home and Away (I used to watch Friends and Scrubs). Today's post is about Home and Away. Home and Away is set in Australia in the beautiful Summer Bay. There are characters of all ages that all comew together as a comunity. I know that sounds very happy-kids Tv-ish but its not all that happy. There is murder, assault, and scandal. Don't get me wrong, its not like Eastenders where someone dies every other day, it happens maybe once or twice in six months.

I'm going to tell you a little bit about my favourite character, Ruby Buckton. Ruby is redoing Year 12. Her boyfriend is called Casey Braxton (yes, he is a boy). Earlier on she found out that her sister Charlie was in fact her mother who had her when she was young. Ruby has diabetes and at one point was so depressed because of rejection by Romeo Smith, a boy who she had a crush on, that she forgets to take her diabetes. It is after being rejected by Romeo that Casey and her get together. Whe everyine thinks she is a loser he is the only one that stands up for her. Ruby's character revolves around rejection and relationships. At one point, she goes out with Xavier Austin, has a crush on her music teacher, has a short relationship with Romeo but he refuses to make it anything more than a fling and is now dating Casey. I like Ruby because she is free-spirited and independent.

I went to to Thorpe Park!

Last Sunday, me and my friend (Glee-mania) went to Thorpe Park. It was awesome! Here is how the day went!

We got there early in the morning. We wanted to start with baby rides and work our way up so we went on the Flying Fish. It was good but a little bit short. Next we went on Tidal Wave. I have never been that drenched on a ride in my life. For a few seconds all you can see is splashes and water. After that we went on the Rumba Rapids. Then we went on Monkey's Banana ride. It was like those pirate ship ones that swing only it was a banana. It made we feel a bit sick. We then went on Nemesis Inferno. It was epic! After that we had lunch in the Pizza Hut Buffet (really nice if you like pizza). As it was after lunch we didn't want to dive right into big rides in case we threw up so we went on the Rocky Express. We really underestimated it's non-tameness. After that we went on a Canadian Train ride which went at the speed of a real train. After that I went on Colossus on my own (she didn't want to go). We then did Quantum and Zodiac (really sickening). After that we went on X:/No Way Out. Then we did this thing when you are in a giant plastic bubble that is floating on water and it is so cool because nobody can hear anything you say. It's like your in a hamster ball. We then went on the new ride Storm Surge which was slightly disappointing. The last ride we went on was a water slide called Depth Charge.

FINCHEL

Hi, if you are fully caught up on Glee episodes you will know that Fuinn (Quinn and Finn) are a couple again. I strongly disagree with this reunion. They are a terrible couple! For most of their relationship in season 1 Quinn treated Finn like a dog and let's not forget that she cheated on him! The thing I don't understand is that Quinn and Rachel both cheated on Finn (and Quinn actually went through with it, Rachel didn't) and Finn seems to have forgiven Quinn but not Rachel!

Personally I'm a massive Finchel fan! I love the way there relationship works! I totally think they should get together again and I heard they will quite soon! so us Finchel lovers will be keeping our fingers crossed! For now I made some Finchel pics! Hope you like them! Thorpe Park
